Here's your weekly dose of healthy recipe inspiration which celebrates some of the new exciting things going on in the healthy blogosphere this week!
You might have noticed things around the site are looking a little different. From now on any new blog posts from a particular week will be in the "Trending" section of the site (the current landing page) and thereafter they'll be archived in the relevant category which can be accessed via the News + Features menu.
1. OUR BRAND NEW LONDON JUICE GUIDE
We’re so excited to say we’ve finally got the first of our healthy London “List” guides up! The juices and smoothies guide (which you can find here) celebrates our favourite cold-pressed juice spots wherever you are in the capital. Look out for our other guides to eating out, grocery shopping, beauty and fitness coming soon!
To celebrate we’re bringing you two great smoothie recipes - one old faithful, Deliciously Ella’s Favourite Green Smoothie and this newbie, Blue Morning Smoothie Bowl from Nutrition Stripped (green smoothies are so last year darling!). Ready, set, blend!
2. PLENTY MORE FROM OTTOLENGHI
We’re so excited for the launch of Ottonlenghi’s second vegetarian cookbook Plenty More and can’t wait to get our hands on a copy. Get a taste of things to come with this recipe selection from the new book over at The Guardian.
3. GREEN KITCHEN STORIES’ RIBOLLITA
Our favourite Scandi health foodies Green Kitchen Stories have also launched a new cookbook this week called Green Kitchen Travels. If this Ribollita (rustic Italian bean soup) recipe is anything to go by we’ll be just as addicted to this new book as the last one!
4. HONESTLY HEALTHY’S TAHINI SWEET POTATO MASH
The perfect side for a weeknight supper this is a creamy and indulgent tasting mash without any guilt! We predict this is going to become a firm favourite in our household!
5. JESSICA SEPEL’S VEGETABLE BREAD
We’re always on the lookout for tasty unprocessed gluten free bread options and this veggie bread from gorgeous Aussie blogger Jessica Sepel fits the bill perfectly. We're already toying with the idea of experimenting with our leftover veggie juice pulp in the recipe!
